Job summary

Fair-Rite Products Corp. in Wallkill, NY is seeking a materials handler to support production in the press room. Training will be provided for the right candidate, with basic math skills required to start.

Responsibilities include stocking presses, using a forklift, tracking inventory in CMS/ERP, and preparing for set-ups and second shifts. Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience needed; we will train the right candidate.
• Vocational/technical training with 0–3 months on-the-job training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock required materials for each press and maintain designated areas.
• Operate forklift to stock presses and replenish powder
• Record inventory transactions in CMS/ERP system.
• Prepare presses for setup and second shift materials.
• Conduct basic powder testing (bulk density, flow, moisture, sieve).
• Keep powder room neat and organized; communicate powder/press issues.
• Transfer pressed parts and WO Packets to kiln department.
