Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee a 5:00 PM–5:00 AM shift (Mon–Thu) at our Kansas City, MO office. You will manage a team, coordinate lineups, review orders, and ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include enforcing ISO/TS-16949 standards, controlling labor costs, material usage, and inventory accuracy, and coaching staff to achieve major objectives in productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing supervision.
• Lean manufacturing and 5S practices.
• Just-in-time and production reporting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department operations and staffing.
• Arrange job lineups to meet customer requirements.
• Review work orders and ensure quality at each step.
• Maintain attendance records and review schedules.
• Ensure ISO/TS-16949 compliance and proper labeling.
• Coach staff to meet productivity and delivery goals.
