The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supervisory experience, experience with presses, and a background in metal stamping or assembly. Auto-industry exposure is preferred, with a focus on cost control and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience required.
• Hands-on supervisor overseeing up to 30 employees.
• Experience implementing and maintaining Lean manufacturing practices (5S, JIT, production reporting).
• Auto industry experience preferred.
• Good math, organizational and leadership skills.
• Experience setting up or operating presses is a plus.
• Will consider any manufacturing background (metal, stamping, assembly).

Responsibilities

• Overseeing department operations, including part quality and part delivery, labor cost control, material usage and inventory accuracy.
• Prior to the start of shift, arrange a job line up to meet customer requirements.
• Review work orders with staff to ensure forms are filled correctly and quality is checked at each stage.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/TS-16949 standards and company quality procedures.
