Accurate Personnel LLC in Woodridge, IL is hiring immediately for a Press Operator to join our team. You will read job tickets detailing stock type, paper size, weight, caliper, ink colors, and follow all special instructions, ensuring stock and ink are ready for press.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of feeder or floor help on a sheet-fed press, good color perception, and the ability to pass color tests.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Good color perception and vision.
Must pass color hue and vision tests.
1–2 years in feeder or floor help on sheet-fed press.
Experience with color scanning equipment.
Experience with plastic substrates.
Ability to read safety rules and manuals.
Basic data entry and computer skills.

Responsibilities

Read instructions from job ticket including stock, ink, colors, and special instructions.
Bring stock and ink to press; keep paper accounted for and ink correct.
Review tickets before runs to ensure accuracy.
Prepare waste sets for make-ready pulls.
Set up feeder, in-feed/delivery, and alignment features.
Position image on sheet per layout; check color, imposition, and trims.
Provide color check and record results in the log.
Obtain supervisor approval on all jobs.
