Job summary

Amcor Mundelein is hiring a press operator to set up, run, and troubleshoot printing equipment on customer products. You will mount plates, manage hazard­ous waste duties, and complete required EPA/DOT/OSHA trainings. The role requires attention to safety, quality, and documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Shifts are 12 hours, 2‑2‑3 schedule, with days or nights options. Starting pay ranges $20–$25 per hour, with benefits starting day one and eligibility for quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Ability to read a ruler and perform basic measurements.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot press equipment.
• Monitor print quality and raw material usage.
• Change inks, coatings, and blankets; inspect and adjust components.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and complete production paperwork.
• Follow EPA/DOT/OSHA training requirements as applicable.
