Job summary

Amcor is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for the Printing Department on the overnight shift to ensure customer satisfaction and plant efficiency. You will operate equipment, inspect packaging quality, and complete required paperwork while adhering to safety and GMP standards.

The role requires reading process manuals, recording measurements, and maintaining continuous production with attention to quality. High school diploma or equivalent is required with strong attendance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Inspect and package plastic products of good quality.
• Read process manuals and record measurements.
• Maintain continuous production runs and machine efficiency.
• Adhere to Safety, GMP and HACCP practices.
• Stand/walk for 8 consecutive hours.
• Lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment efficiently and safely.
• Inspect and package plastic products of good quality.
• Safely utilize basic tools before placing boxes on a pallet.
• Properly complete all required paperwork.
• Read through process manuals and record measurements
• Ensure accuracy and monitor quality of production runs.
• Maintain continuous production runs and machine efficiency.
• Maintain plant cleanliness through daily work-area cleaning and proper scrap placement.
• Perform additional job duties as required by leadership efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to all Company and Departmental procedures.
• Follow all Safety, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP practices.
