Job summary

Ward-Kraft, Inc. in Kansas is seeking a press operator to set up and operate presses to produce products to customer specifications. You will ensure on-time delivery, quality, and efficiency on a day-to-day basis.

The role requires basic reading/comprehension, simple arithmetic, and the ability to handle physical tasks including lifting up to 200 pounds occasionally. Training available for equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–12 months related experience to learn equipment and processes.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos and short correspondences.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly.
• Ability to operate a slitter machine, forklift, hoist and hand tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 200 pounds occasionally.
