ProAmpac’s Neenah, WI facility is hiring a press operator to safely set up, operate, and monitor machinery for fast-paced production. You will calibrate equipment, inspect materials, and ensure quality and quotas while keeping work areas clean and organized.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing training for new crew members in a rotating 4-on/4-off schedule with comprehensive benefits and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• HS/GED required; HS/GED preferred.
• 2-4 years' experience in a related field is required.
• This position has no leadership duties.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and WIP.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs routine maintenance.
• Trains and guides machine assistants and new crew members.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of machinery and areas.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and wears PPE as required.

Essential Duties And Tasks

• Safely sets up, operates, and monitors press machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals.
• Completes press machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.
• Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
• Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.
• Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment(PPE) as required by safety policies and reports any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.

Qualifications, Education And Experience
