Job summary

PROMAN Staffing USA seeks a maintenance/press operator to support flexographic printing operations in Romeoville, IL. You will operate, set up, and troubleshoot presses and auxiliary equipment, ensuring production standards are met and downtime is minimized.

Responsibilities include performing basic maintenance, maintaining 5S standards, documenting activities, and cross-training across multiple lines. A related Associates degree or 1-3 years experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (or equivalent from two year college or technical school) or 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Cross-train and work multiple press lines and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set-up, and troubleshoot flexographic printing presses and auxiliary equipment according to production standards.
• Maintain machines with basic maintenance and report malfunctions promptly to supervision.
• Follow quality inspection plans and meet scrap and yield goals.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.

Job description

• Operate, set-up, and trouble shoot flexographic printing presses and auxiliary equipment, all in accordance with production standards and productivity goals. Including: utilization of product specs (copy card), changing plates, cylinders, and dies.

Maintenance

• Maintain machines by performing basic maintenance including lubricants, replace minor parts, and requests major maintenance when necessary.
• Maintain work area utilizing 5S methods.
• Report machine and equipment malfunctions immediately to the group leader, maintenance and/or supervisor.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Cross-train and work multiple press lines and equipment as needed.

Quality Control

• Follow all quality inspection plans. This involves measuring, checking, and testing various processes and product parameters. Meet established goals for material scrap and yield.

Qualification

Associates degree ( or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
