Core responsibilities
  • Safely set up, operate, and monitor presses according to job specifications and blueprints to produce high-quality products.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet company and customer standards. Perform quality audits and make adjustments as needed.
  • Perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of the press and related machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues that arise during operation to minimize downtime.
  • Load materials, change parts like plates and ink rollers, and complete production paperwork and reports as required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and work instructions.
