Altium Packaging in Sparta, Tennessee, is seeking a Press Operator, Imprinting, to operate liner and assembly machines for quality printed prescription packaging materials. You will complete periodic paperwork, run equipment safely, and ensure prints meet high standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, a high school degree or equivalent, and basic math skills. Expect a 12hr shift with overtime as needed, contributing to a fast-paced packaging operation.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate imprinting machines and tooling.
• Follow PPE requirements at all times (cap, net, glasses, gloves, ear plugs, safety shoes).
• Operate machine controls and adjustments to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and sort rejects.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and assist co-workers as needed.

The Press Operator, Imprinting is responsible for running liner and assembly machines that produce quality printed materials for prescription packaging. Operators are responsible for completing periodic paperwork and machine/product checks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely handle and operate any assigned imprinting machines and tooling


• Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times; bump caps, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes


• Operate machine controls, programs and associated equipment to ensure parts and prints produced are done at maximum efficiency and to the highest quality standards.


• Make machinery/equipment adjustments as needed (dislodging jams, controlling speed, product size, etc.)


• Inspect finished products for quality assurance


• Assist co-operators as needed with various tasks


• Operate tape guns to seal boxes ready for shipment


• Secure labels on to boxes


• Maintain clean/safe work area


• Sort rejected product to determine quality errors

• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
