Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Press Operator, Flexographic to run flexographic machines producing printed prescription packaging. You will perform machine/product checks, ensure PPE compliance, and inspect outputs for quality. Responsibilities include adjusting machine speed and size, sealing boxes, labeling, and keeping a clean work area.

• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated safety awareness in a production setting.
• Basic computer skills for paperwork and data entry.
• Basic math skills for measurement and counting.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and operate flexographic machines and tooling.
• Ensure proper PPE usage at all times.
• Operate machine controls and programs to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Make machinery adjustments as needed to control speed and size.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
• Assist co-operators with various tasks as needed.
• Operate tape guns to seal boxes for shipment.
• Secure labels on boxes and maintain neat workspace.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Sort rejected product to determine quality errors.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.

Work Shift: 12hr-B Shift (United States of America)

The Press Operator, Flexographic is responsible for running flexographic machines that produce quality printed materials for prescription packaging. Operators are responsible for completing periodic paperwork and machine/product checks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safely handle and operate any assigned flexographic machines and tooling Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times; bump caps, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes Operate machine controls, programs and associated equipment to ensure parts and prints produced are done at maximum efficiency and to the highest quality standards. Make machinery/equipment adjustments as needed (dislodging jams, controlling speed, product size, etc.) Inspect finished products for quality assurance Assist co-operators as needed with various tasks Operate tape guns to seal boxes ready for shipment Secure labels on to boxes Maintain clean/safe work area Sort rejected product to determine quality errors

• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
