Job summary

Altium Packaging is hiring a Press Operator, Imprinting to run flexographic imprinting machines for prescription packaging. You will perform machine setups, inspection and quality checks, and help with packing and labeling tasks. The role requires adherence to PPE protocols and safe operation practices in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

The position involves mandatory overtime as needed, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and teamwork within the production line.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years manufacturing experience.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• Safety awareness and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate imprinting machines and tooling.
• Ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
• Make machine adjustments to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
• Assist co-operators as needed with various tasks.
• Seal boxes with tape and secure labels.

The Press Operator, Imprinting is responsible for running flexographic machines that produce quality printed materials for prescription packaging. Operators are responsible for completing periodic paperwork and machine/product checks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Safely handle and operate any assigned imprinting machines and tooling Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times; bump caps, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes Operate machine controls, programs and associated equipment to ensure parts and prints produced are done at maximum efficiency and to the highest quality standards. Make machinery/equipment adjustments as needed (dislodging jams, controlling speed, product size, etc.) Inspect finished products for quality assurance Assist co-operators as needed with various tasks Operate tape guns to seal boxes ready for shipment Secure labels on to boxes Maintain clean/safe work area Sort rejected product to determine quality errors

• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Preferred Experience:

1-2 Years Manufacturing Experience High School Degree or Equivalent Safety Awareness Computer Skills Basic Math Skills
