Job summary

Altium Packaging is hiring a Press Operator, Flexographic, to run flexographic machines producing quality prescription packaging. You will complete periodic paperwork and machine/product checks while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

We value safety, reliability, and teamwork. The role requires 1–2 years manufacturing experience, a high school degree or equivalent, and basic math and computer skills. This on-site position offers overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• High School Degree or Equivalent required.
• Safety awareness essential for PPE and on-site procedures.
• Basic math skills and computer literacy helpful for paperwork and checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate flexographic machines and tooling to produce quality printed materials.
• Ensure proper PPE usage at all times (cap, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, safety shoes).
• Operate machine controls and adjust speed/size to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Inspect finished products for quality and record essential checks.
• Assist co‑workers with related tasks and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Apply labels and seal boxes for shipment; handle tape guns as needed.
• Sort rejects to identify quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

The Press Operator, Flexographic is responsible for running flexographic machines that produce quality printed materials for prescription packaging. Operators are responsible for completing periodic paperwork and machine/product checks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safely handle and operate any assigned flexographic machines and tooling Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times; bump caps, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes Operate machine controls, programs and associated equipment to ensure parts and prints produced are done at maximum efficiency and to the highest quality standards. Make machinery/equipment adjustments as needed (dislodging jams, controlling speed, product size, etc.) Inspect finished products for quality assurance Assist co-operators as needed with various tasks Operate tape guns to seal boxes ready for shipment Secure labels on to boxes Maintain clean/safe work area Sort rejected product to determine quality errors

• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
