Job Summary

The Press Operator, Imprinting is responsible for running flexographic machines that produce quality printed materials for prescription packaging. Operators are responsible for completing periodic paperwork and machine/product checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and operate any assigned imprinting machines and tooling
• Ensure proper use of PPE (bump caps, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes) at all times
• Operate machine controls, programs and associated equipment to ensure parts and prints are produced at maximum efficiency and the highest quality standards
• Make machinery/equipment adjustments as needed (dislodging jams, controlling speed, product size, etc.)
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance
• Assist co‑operators as needed with various tasks
• Operate tape guns to seal boxes ready for shipment
• Secure labels onto boxes
• Maintain a clean/safe work area
• Sort rejected product to determine quality errors
• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs

Qualifications
