Job summary

Mill Rock Packaging in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Press Operator II for the 1st shift. You will support the 1st Press Operator with make-ready, operate and maintain the printing press, and ensure quality during production runs.

Responsibilities include mounting plates, adjusting pressure, and performing color and register corrections. Prior experience with sheet-fed offsets and KBA presses is preferred; strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating sheet-fed offset presses is required.
• Ability to work as part of a press team and follow directions.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist setup by making-ready and assisting 1st Press Operator.
• Mount plates and blankets on press cylinders.
• Adjust press for required print pressure.
• Change rollers and adjust roller pressures.
• Perform color and register adjustments before production runs.
• Clean blankets and ink systems.
