Toppan Packaging Americas is seeking a skilled Press Operator for the Elk Grove Village facility. The role supports press operations, ensures consistent print quality, and safely operates printing equipment on a 12-hour continental night shift (5:45 PM – 6:15 AM). A retention bonus of $2,000 is offered with staged payouts after 90 and 180 days.

The position requires mechanical aptitude, strong math skills, and proficiency in English. Prior press operator experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist press operators to maintain workflow and print quality on assigned press runs.
• Prepare materials and setups for press operations and assist with press changes.
• Clean presses during job changes and perform routine setup, operation, and feeding of cylinder-type presses.
• Monitor print quality and communicate status during shift changes.
• Perform daily and periodic preventive maintenance on equipment.
