Job summary

Oliver Inc. in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a Press Operator/Feeder to support our Press Department. You will assist the Pressman with setup, operation and maintenance of press equipment, with a primary focus on paper handling and feeder systems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of printing or manufacturing experience.
• Basic knowledge of press operations and paper handling.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor equipment performance.

Responsibilities

• Review daily production schedule and prepare materials for upcoming jobs.
• Verify paper stock using load tags and job specifications.
• Unload, stage, and load paper into press feeders.
• Set and adjust paper feed systems, including detectors and pressure settings.
• Monitor paper flow, feeder performance and press operation during runs.
• Maintain ink and water levels and keep work area clean and organized.
