Job summary

Oliver Inc. is seeking an experienced offset press operator for the 2nd shift. You will set up, calibrate color targets, and bring sheets to specification while monitoring density and consistency across runs.

You will log measurements, perform preventive maintenance, and escalate any quality concerns early to minimize waste and downtime. A team-oriented approach and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of offset press experience.
• Experience with Heidelberg, Komori, or KBA presses.
• Ability to read job tickets and production documentation.
• Color control and print quality standards expertise.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and run offset presses to meet or exceed quality and throughput targets.
• Execute make-ready, precise color matching, and ongoing press adjustments throughout the run.
• Continuously monitor output and make real-time corrections for consistent print quality.
• Follow job tickets and production schedules to maintain efficiency.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition.
• Identify and escalate quality issues promptly to reduce waste and downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized press area.

Make-ready is your canvas: you dial in color targets, register, and impression, then bring the first sheets to spec. As production scales, you constantly watch density, dot gain, and consistency—tweaking ink/water balance and feeders in real time. You log measurements, keep schedules moving, and escalate any quality concerns early to minimize waste and downtime. Between runs, you perform preventive maintenance and keep the press area spotless.
