Job summary

KDV Label, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Press Operator to set up and run printing presses to produce labels on plastic film, paper, or foil, following job specs.

The role requires meticulous setup, color accuracy checks, routine maintenance, and record-keeping. Training will occur on first shift; long-term roles include additional shifts; starting pay is $23 per hour with opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary training in printing preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in flexographic printing preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders, color guides, and safety procedures.
• Basic math and computer skills are required.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed.
• Ability to distinguish colour.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust press components including printing plates, anilox rollers, inks, and dies.
• Operate the press to print labels, packaging, or other materials according to job specifications.
• Monitor print quality for color accuracy, registration, and clarity.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the press and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical or print issues during production runs.
• Maintain accurate production records and follow safety and quality protocols.
