Job summary

American Plastics, LLC is hiring a Production Operator to support the production, inspection and packaging of products in a clean, safe environment. You will contribute to making retail storage and janitorial products used daily in homes and businesses.

Shifts include days (7am-7pm) and nights (7pm-7am) with competitive pay up to $21/hour plus a $1 shift differential for night shifts and a $500 referral bonus. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, paid vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
• Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs. and up to 80 lbs. team lift.
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and authorize background check.

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply the lines and packing areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.
