Responsibilities

• Start machines and monitor operation; record production data.

• Read production schedules and verify material specifications.
• Record dimensions with calipers, micrometers and dial indicators.
• Assist with coil and die changes; maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Stop production if unsafe conditions arise; follow supervisor instructions.

Position: Press Operator

We are adding Press Operators to our team to support continued growth. This is a full‑time position based in Maumee, Ohio. The role ensures smooth operation of press machines, overseeing metal material processing, and maintaining safety and quality.

Hours

2nd shift – 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Must be available to work overtime (daily, weekends, and some holidays).

Compensation & Benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Start machines, monitor operation, record operational data for material tracking, and record number of pieces produced.
• Operate or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal material.
• Load work pieces into machines.
• Examine and inspect completed work pieces for defects and sort them according to types of flaws.
• Read production schedules to determine specifications, including materials and tolerances.
• Verify and document dimensions of finished parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Assist in completing simple to intermediate tasks associated with coil and die changes.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Authority to stop production if unsafe parts or conditions appear.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must satisfactorily complete pre‑employment screening (background check and drug screen).
• Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends, and holidays).
• Experience operating large industrial equipment is preferred.
• Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Report to work on time to support production startup.
• Good physical stamina and coordination.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Work as a team, good communication skills, basic math skills, physical dexterity.
