The Machine Press Operator Role

The Machine Press Operator performs tasks related to the production of molded elastomeric bridge bearings. Responsibilities include loading/unloading presses, reassembling molds per work orders, operating molding presses, handling tool equipment, and operating forklifts and overhead cranes to ensure safe, quality production without rejection.

What You'll Do

• Operate manual machines in a manufacturing setting
• Use overhead cranes and forklifts safely
• Read and interpret production work orders and basic drawings
• Apply mechanical skills for troubleshooting
• Measure parts with calipers and tape measures
• Maintain attention to detail
• Lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs
• Work in extreme temperature conditions
• Follow 6S housekeeping standards
• Maintain excellent attendance
• Work any shift and overtime as needed
