What you can expect

We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, and optimizing production output.

What you need

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Equipment operation (including coil handling and loading, first piece runs, production of parts, quality checks, documentation)
• Housekeeping in and around press and straightener; keeps equipment and work area organized, free of clutter, and clean in conjunction with 5S
• Set-ups according to the setup books; parts and raw material quality compliant with QC instructions in Plex
• SPC tasks as needed
• Time tracking in Plex
• Environmental responsibilities including applying 5S principles (sort, straighten, shine, sustain, and standardize)
• Handle paperwork needed for production runs
• Responsible for following safety rules, including PPE and safe work behavior
• Use company's quality control procedures to prevent defective products from reaching customers
• Oversees and monitors work of associated parts catchers
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Dependable attendance per company policy
