Job description

We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, and optimizing production output.

What you need.

We are looking for a candidate with:

1. Responsible for equipment operation (including coil handling and loading, first piece runs, production of parts, quality checks, documentation)
2. Housekeeping in and around press and straightener; keeps equipment and work area organized, free of clutter, and clean in conjunction with 5S
3. Set-ups according to the set up books * Parts and raw material quality compliant with the QC instructions in Plex
4. SPC tasks as needed
5. Time tracking in Plex
6. Environmental Responsibilities including applying the 5S principles (sort, straighten, shine, sustain, and standardize)
7. Handle paperwork needed for production runs
8. Responsible for the following company safety rules, including wearing of the required PPE and exercising safe work behavior
9. Use the Company’s quality control procedures of non-conforming product to prevent defective product from reaching our customers
10. Oversees and monitors work of associated parts catchers
11. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
