Job summary

Toledo Tool & Die in Toledo, OH is seeking a Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. This full-time position offers a stable schedule, a clean and safe work environment, and opportunities for growth within a long-standing company.

Shifts include 1st shift with Monday–Friday hours. Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to operate or tend metalworking machinery with attention to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete pre-employment screening (background check and drug screen).
• Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends and holidays).
• Experience operating large industrial equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start machines, monitor operation and record data for production tracking.
• Operate or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, bend, or straighten metal pieces.
• Load work pieces into machines.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and verify dimensions per specifications.
• Read production schedules to ensure materials and tolerances meet customer specs.
• Verify dimensions with gauges and calipers.
• Assist with coil and die changes as needed.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work area.
• Authority to stop production if unsafe conditions appear.
