Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is seeking a diligent Press Operator to run manual web press machines, monitor print quality, and ensure products meet customer specs.

You will set up and adjust presses, troubleshoot downtime, train press assistants, maintain a clean and safe work area, and follow production schedules to hit productivity targets. Schedule Tue-Fri 6:00 AM–4:00 PM with potential overtime on Mondays; pay $20-$23 per hour; direct hire opportunity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of press operator experience required.
• Experience with manual web press machines preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret production instructions and specifications.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Press Operator Details:

• Schedule: Tuesday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Potential OT on Mondays)
• Pay Rate: $20-$23/hour
• Direct Hire Opportunity

Press Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate manual web press machines to produce high-quality printed materials
• Monitor print quality and production output to ensure customer specifications are met
• Set up, adjust, and maintain press equipment for efficient production runs
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments to minimize downtime
• Train and support press assistants as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow production schedules and meet established productivity goals
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to keep equipment operating efficiently

Press Operator Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of press operator experience required
• Experience operating manual web press machines preferred
• Experience with Sanden, Didde, Global, or Super Web presses is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret production instructions and specifications
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the company
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality standards
