Job summary

Richardson International Limited in Carrington, ND operates a durum milling and pasta facility. The Press Operator will run extrusion and press lines, monitor quality, manage egg hoppers, and keep accurate readings while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The role requires a high school diploma and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Relocation support may be available. Starting pay is $26 per hour, with rotating 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am shifts and a benefits package

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extrusion/press process, ensuring correct mix levels and equipment performance.
• Check product quality during drying and fix issues quickly.
• Set up egg hoppers and ensure proper loading and operation.
• Record machine readings and report problems immediately.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and equipment.
• Perform die changes and use correct parts.
• Report machine issues, track downtime and submit maintenance requests.

We currently have an opportunity for a Press Operator at our Carrington, ND durum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce Dakota Growers pasta.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the extrusion/press process, ensuring correct mix levels, ratios, and equipment performance
• Check product quality during drying and quickly fix any issues
• Set up and manage egg hoppers, ensuring proper loading and operation
• Record machine readings and report any problems immediately
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and safe
• Perform die changes and use correct parts
• Report machine issues, track downtime, and submit maintenance requests as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• Able to work weekends, holidays and overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience, with experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
