Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials into the press per procedures to ensure proper distribution.
• Monitor and operate press equipment to meet specifications.

• Maintain a clean, safe work area and dispose of waste properly.
• Ensure cleanliness of equipment and workstations before/after curing.
• Complete production, quality, and process documentation.
• Trim excess material from pads and inspect stoppers for defects.
• Process pads through the cooling unit per procedures.
• Stack and place pads or stoppers onto pallets.
• Follow all safety policies, environmental procedures, and QSRs.

Job Summary

Responsible for loading, operating, and unloading rubber press equipment to manufacture products that meet all product specifications, quality standards, and production requirements while minimizing waste and maintaining a safe work environment. Work schedule: rotating 3-2-2-3 shift pattern (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, weekends included), 8:00 PM-8:00 AM. This is not a climate-controlled environment — very hot during summer months. Drug screening not required; onsite eye exam is required. Candidates may start while criminal background checks are pending, once all checks have been completed.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Load raw materials into the press per established procedures, ensuring proper weight and material distribution for consistent mold coverage
• Monitor and operate press equipment to ensure lubrication, temperature, tonnage, and cycle times meet product specifications
• Report equipment issues or process deficiencies to setup technician or supervisor
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; properly dispose of scrap, waste, and other materials in designated locations
• Ensure cleanliness of equipment and workstations by removing oil, cured scrap, water, and other contaminants before/after curing
• Accurately complete production, quality, and process documentation
• Trim excess material from pads, inspect stoppers for quality defects, and perform corrective actions when defects are identified
• Process manufactured pads through the cooling unit per established procedures
• Stack and place pads or stoppers onto pallets or designated storage locations
• Follow all safety policies, environmental procedures, and Quality System Regulations (QSRs)
