Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in Sumter, SC, is hiring for an Assembler, General (Press Operator) in a rubber molding facility. You will conduct quality checks on rubber stopper pads and operate a heated press machine.

Two positions are available for a 12-month contract on 1st shift, 40 hours/week. Must pass eye exam, wear steel/composite-toe shoes, and lift up to 50 lbs in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Basic math calculation skills required for measurement and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on rubber stopper pads and inspect parts.
• Operate a heated press machine for rubber molding.
• Use a mallet hammer and other hand tools for assembly.
• Perform fabrication, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment per SOPs.
• Conduct quality inspections on the processing line and adhere to quality specs.

Job Summary

Roles And Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on rubber stopper pads
• Operate a heated press machine
• Use a mallet hammer and other hand tools
• Perform fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging tasks for medical devices
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment
• Conduct quality inspections on the processing line per quality specifications
• Work within clearly defined SOPs and adhere to quality guidelines
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and Team Lead/Supervisor
• Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed

Experience

• 0 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Zero (0) to one (1) year of manufacturing assembly experience required
• Previous manufacturing work experience preferred

Eligibility And Qualifications

• Background check must clear (may start with background pending)
• Willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Willing to work H-Shift schedule (3 on/2 off/2 on/3 off, including weekends)
