Job summary

Sheridan in New Hampshire seeks a Press Coordinator to manage daily visibility of titles moving through the press department. You will prepare maintenance logs, help maintain inventories, and coordinate training for new operators while ensuring safety and efficiency across shifts.

Responsibilities include handling rework, communicating with leaders and IT, coordinating with other schedulers, and suggesting workflow improvements to reduce overtime and balance loads.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED/HiSET required.
  • Good interpersonal skills required.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all work groups.
  • Flexible, with the ability to think outside the box in order to achieve total customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day flow of titles through the press department.
  • Prepare and log preventative maintenance tasks in FMX.
  • Assist in ensuring weekly supply inventories are completed.
  • Assist in ordering parts and supplies.
  • Submit rework when necessary and track its causes.
  • Communicate with department leaders and IT on system concerns.
  • Coordinate with other schedulers to meet date needs and balance workloads.
  • Offer input to minimize overtime and optimize workflow.
  • Focus on total jobs to minimize excess WIP and ensure safe, efficient operations.
  • Demonstrate good housekeeping and safety awareness.
