Job summary

LG Electronics North America is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Press department in Clarksville, TN. The role focuses on daily operations planning, training coordination, and material management to ensure safety, quality, and on-time output.

The candidate should have at least 5 years in production, strong mentoring skills, and deep knowledge of manufacturing processes. Travel may be required; a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5+ years of production experience.
• Experience mentoring/coaching operators.
• Strong understanding of complex equipment and system integration.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and evaluate problems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Some international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Create the daily press operations plan.
• Provide line leaders with daily start-up information.
• Manage training needs of press operators, technicians and line leaders.
• Verify raw material availability and report shortages.
• Monitor and enforce plant policies and procedures.
• Assist manager with reviewing operator performance.
• Manage quality systems in the press department.
• Monitor product quality and address internal customer issues.
• Achieve daily targets for Safety, Quality, Costs, Idle Time, UPH and 5S.
• Attend production planning meetings and training sessions.
