Job summary

RR Donnelley in Quakertown, PA is seeking a warehouse associate to operate a forklift, inspect rolls, and ensure accurate receiving of shipments. You will assist with wrapping, relabeling, and stacking while maintaining safety and timeliness on a 3pm–11pm shift.

Previous forklift experience is preferred; printing environment experience is a plus. You should be able to work in a team, use basic hand tools, and follow ISO quality procedures. A $1,000 sign-on bonus and standard benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience in a printing environment is preferred.
• Some experience in operating various hand tools is preferred.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect warehouse for unwrapped rolls, missing tappis, damaged rolls, and stacking.
• Check, fix and re-tape outer wraps on rolls, relabel, cut down damaged product.
• Assist warehouse personnel to prioritize receiving shipments.
• Inspect paper rolls for accuracy and damage.
• Carton making as needed.
• Operate with minimal supervision and complete tasks daily.
• Shred documents, clean, sweep floors and aisles during shift.
• Assist press service and material handlers as needed.
• Follow safety policies including hazardous waste handling and PPE rules.
• Follow documented ISO Quality Manual processes.
• Will train to operate a fork truck, clamp truck, and walker/ryder.
