Job summary

Aluminum Precision Products (APP) is seeking a Lead in the Press department to assist the supervisor in directing assigned work activities. The working lead will instruct, direct, and inform employees while performing their regular duties and ensuring safety and productivity.

The role requires coordinating with the department and showing leadership in daily operations. Applicant must have ITAR awareness, US citizenship or eligibility, and be able to work overtime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a production environment.
• Prior experience in a press department or forging would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, direct, and inform employees on work to be performed.
• Provide job cross-training when necessary.
• Maintain accurate part-counts and ensure quality and production requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.
• Communicate across departments and report to Lead A and Supervisor.
