  • Forklift or material handling certification preferred.
  • Experience with ERP and Infor CSI manufacturing management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain logs, reports, and documentation timely.
  • Promote zero-accident safety culture and compliance.
  • Conduct daily safety checks and assist investigations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.

Job Summary:

The Production Team Lead oversees daily operations within the aluminum manufacturing area, ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and with high-quality outcomes. This role is responsible for coordinating team activities, monitoring workflows, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and maintaining a safe, accident-free work environment. The Production Lead serves as the primary contact for operations within the department and helps train, motivate, and guide team members to achieve optimal performance.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and support production team members to ensure consistent performance, engagement, and accountability.

  • Provide hands‑on training for new employees and ongoing skill development for existing team members.

  • Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications through daily checks and adherence to procedures.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in aluminum, metals, or industrial production.
  • Proven leadership or lead‑operator experience.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and workflow management.
  • Ability to train, motivate, and guide employees in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards and quality practices.
  • Preferred experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement techniques.
  • Preferred forklift or material handling certification.
  • Preferred experience with ERP, CSI/Infor manufacturing management systems.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and aluminum materials.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Requires use of PPE and adherence to all safety protocols.
