Jobot is seeking a skilled Press Brake Setup Technician to join its Bloomingdale fabrication team. The role focuses on independently setting up, programming, adjusting, and operating press brake equipment to manufacture precision sheet metal parts.

The ideal candidate will have extensive press brake setup experience, sharp blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to troubleshoot forming issues while maintaining quality and production standards. First-shift schedule included.

• Set up, program, adjust, and operate press brake machines
• Install, align, and change tooling based on job specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production schedules
• Verify angles, dimensions, bend sequences, and completed parts
• Use calipers, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments
• Troubleshoot process issues, clear alarms, and make minor machine adjustments
• Complete first-piece and periodic quality inspections
• Minimize scrap while meeting production and quality requirements
• Train and assist operators with machine operation, inspection, and setup procedures
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
• Follow all machine-guarding and workplace safety requirements
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized
