Job summary

Peerless-AV is seeking a skilled Fabricator in Aurora, IL to set up and run fabrication equipment Monday through Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. The ideal candidate has at least four years of fabrication experience and the ability to read blueprints and perform quality checks in an ISO environment.

Responsibilities include operating press brakes and other machinery, verifying materials, documenting specifications, and ensuring safe, efficient production. This role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum four years fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret routings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run fabrication equipment on a daily basis.
• Read shop orders, drawings and set-up sheets.
• Verify materials and perform quality checks on parts.
• Bend metal to specified dimensions and use correct tooling.
• Maintain safety and document in-process specs.
• Fill out time clocks and related paperwork.
• Report machine problems to lead or supervisor.
• Assist with prototypes and inspection forms as needed.
