Peerless-AV is seeking a fabrication technician to set up and run production jobs in the fabrication department. The role runs Monday through Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, with responsibilities including reading drawings, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe, efficient workflow.

Ideal candidates will have at least four years of fabrication experience, can operate a variety of equipment, and will supervise operators while ensuring compliance with ISO quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of four years fabrication experience.
• Able to set up and operate a wide variety of equipment.
• Use squares, tape measures and calipers for quality checks.
• Quality control in an ISO environment.
• Supervise and inspect operators work.

Responsabilités

• Set and run fabrication jobs in the fabrication department.
• Follow shop orders, drawings, routings, and setup sheets.
• Maintain quality and document all in-process specifications.
• Fill out paperwork and time clock reporting for work performed.
• Perform duties safely and report machine problems to supervisor.
• Produce prototypes and inspection forms as needed.
