Job summary

Process Technology in Mentor, OH is seeking a CNC Press Brake Operator to form precision sheet metal parts and support efficient production workflows. You will set up and run press brake machinery, read blueprints, verify tolerances, and uphold safety and quality standards to ensure on-time deliveries.

Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, you will maintain tooling, measure parts with precision instruments, and contribute to continuous improvement across the department and company.

Qualifications

• Experience with fabrication shop practices and CNC press brake operations.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and perform basic shop math.
• Familiarity with air bending punches, dies, and spring back forming.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to form sheet metal parts per blueprints.
• Monitor tooling, clamps, and stock; adjust parameters to maintain tolerances.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and measure parts with precision tools.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and document production data and deviations.
• Ensure safety protocols, keep workstation clean, and report issues to supervision.

Summary

As a CNC Press Brake Operator, you will be essential in forming precision sheet metal parts and supporting efficient production workflows. Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, you will set up and operate press brake machinery, interpret mechanical blueprints, verify tolerances, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. Your precision, reliability, and adherence to the forming process will drive on-time deliveries and quality outcomes

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to form sheet metal parts according to blueprints and process instructions.
• Monitor tooling, clamps, and material stock; adjust machine parameters to maintain part tolerances.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, sketches, and tolerance notes; measure parts with precision instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Perform basic machine maintenance, inspect parts for quality, and document production data and deviations.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed, maintain a clean workstation, and communicate any issues to supervision.
