Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with technical training in metal fabrication.
• Shop math, blueprint interpretation, and metal characteristics knowledge.
• Ability to inspect parts and ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and select punches, dies and tooling per job requirements.
• Program and adjust controllers, back gauges and safety guards.
• Load materials per work orders and interpret drawings.
• Evaluate bend allowances and determine exact angles.
• Measure finished parts with calipers to ensure tolerances.
• Maintain records and follow safety policies in daily operations.
• Conduct cleaning and troubleshooting in line with OSHA rules.
• Document production paperwork and quality records.
