Zaniboni Lighting Co. seeks an experienced press brake operator to produce high-quality parts from thin gauge aluminum and sheet metal in Clearwater, FL.

The role requires reading shop drawings, setting up tooling, and ensuring tolerances through precise measurement. Hourly rate is negotiable, starting at $24 per hour, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and efficient production in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with technical training in metal fabrication.
• Shop math, blueprint interpretation, and metal characteristics knowledge.
• Ability to inspect parts and ensure quality.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and select punches, dies and tooling per job requirements.
• Program and adjust controllers, back gauges and safety guards.
• Load materials per work orders and interpret drawings.
• Evaluate bend allowances and determine exact angles.
• Measure finished parts with calipers to ensure tolerances.
• Maintain records and follow safety policies in daily operations.
• Conduct cleaning and troubleshooting in line with OSHA rules.
• Document production paperwork and quality records.

We are seeking an experienced Press brake operator to produce high-quality products out of thin gauge aluminum and sheet metal.

Hourly rate is based on skillset and experience, negotiable starting at $24 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and sin tall appropriate punches, dies and tooling based on job requirements.
• Program and adjust controllers and configure back gauges and safety guards
• Select and load correct materials per the work orders.
• Interpret shop drawings and bend allowances to determine exact fold angles
• Measure finished parts with calipers or gauges to ensure they meet tolerances.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning, grading and troubleshooting while following OSHA and shop safety rules
• Maintain all paperwork associated with producing the part and maintaining company records
• Observe safety policies and procedures and operate in a safe manner

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED with technical training in metal fabrication
• Shop match, trigonometry, blueprint interpretations and understanding of metal characteristics (sprinback, thickness).
• Skilled in part inspection and accountable to quality of parts

Physical Demands:

This position requires good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity and the stamina to stand or lift heavy metal sheets for long shifts (10-12 hour days with breaks).

Stations have anti-fatigue mats and stools available when needed.
