Job summary

JobSquad is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator in the Pompano Beach, FL area to set up and run CNC press brake machines. You will read blueprints, select tooling, and maintain tight tolerances to produce quality metal parts.

This role offers $20.90 per hour, Monday to Friday shifts with potential overtime and Saturdays. The ideal candidate has metal fabrication experience, strong measuring skills, and the ability to work safely and independently in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Press Brake Operator or CNC operator.
• Experience in metal fabrication and sheet metal manufacturing preferred.
• Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control.
• Pass drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Press Brake machines
• Perform accurate bending and forming of metal parts using a press brake
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and templates
• Work with tight tolerances and precision measurements
• Plan sequence of operations for efficient production
• Select proper dies, tooling, and methods for various press brake operations
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Assist with additional manufacturing and production duties as needed
