Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions seeks a Press Brake Operator I to set-up and operate metal bending machines (Press Brake) following quality and production standards. In this role you will read blueprints, inspect parts, and report defects while maintaining a clean, safe work area and meeting attendance and productivity expectations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and basic math skills; prior machining experience helps.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, memos.
• Knowledge of basic business math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designer.
• Perform quality inspection/checks per quality documentation/control plan (including documentation of results).
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.
• Identify different types of material – Aluminum, 5000 series Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Paint Grip, Galvanneal, and Galvanized.
• Uphold site efficiency standards.
• Learn and demonstrate continuous improvement for site Safety and Quality standards and procedures.
