American Products is seeking a Brake Press Operator – Class B to join our manufacturing team on the 2nd shift. You will operate brake press equipment to bend, form, and shape metal parts per production specs, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Manufacturing or brake press experience is a plus.
• Basic mechanical aptitude required.
• Willing to learn blueprint reading.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts
• Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and production instructions
• Load and unload materials while ensuring proper alignment and positioning
• Inspect finished parts to verify quality and specifications
• Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product quality
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
• Record production information accurately
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
