Aerotek is seeking a Machine Operator for a second-shift, fully onsite role in Hanover, MD. You will operate press brake equipment, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances while documenting production data.

The position is contract to hire with pay between $22.00 and $25.00 per hour, reflecting heavy involvement in setup, programming, and quality checks. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of press brake experience, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work both independently

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, drawings and fabrication specs to determine setup.
• Set up and adjust press brake for accurate part formation.
• Perform measurements and maintain tight tolerances.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Operate press brake to bend and form sheet metal parts per drawings.
• Program equipment by entering data and parameters for accuracy.
• Inspect in-process parts for conformance to specs.
• Document production data and machine adjustments.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and support team goals.
