Job summary

Mayfran International, based in Mayfield, Ohio, is seeking a craftsman to operate press brakes and assist in metal forming. The role includes setting up dies, checking bend allowances, and moving parts with forklifts and cranes.

You will work from bills of material and blueprints, ensuring safety and quality in a dynamic shop environment. Day-one benefits, 2nd shift with a starting pay of $21.95+ per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential, and opportunities for a 90-day performance-based increase

Qualifications

• Over 3 and up to 12 months of qualifying experience or equivalent.
• Capable of reading bills of material and blueprints.
• Willing to perform press brake setup and basic fabrication.
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers and other hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare press brake machines by selecting dies and aligning in the ram.
• Calculate bend allowances and determine tonnage requirements.
• Load/unload materials and position workpieces on the machine bed.
• Operate forklift and overhead crane to move parts safely.
• Use micrometers and calipers for precision measurement.
• Perform routine maintenance and report faulty equipment.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
