Job description

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLDdivision is currently seeking aPress Brake Operator - 2nd Shift. The core shift hours are Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.This is a direct, full-time position that offers full benefits the day you start. In addition to Eaton’s competitive benefits, Eaton offers$22.26per hour and a $0.40 per hour shift differential.

What you’ll do:

• Run press brake for forming and/or punching operations.
• Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using tape measure, micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.
• Inspect completed workpieces for defects, utilize Workmanship Standards, accurately document results, and complete inspection log.
• Read work orders to determine specifications.
• Test and adjust the machine using gauges and hand tools.
• Install, and align punches, dies, or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines using gauges, shims, and hand tools

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• No relocation is offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Pinckneyville, IL to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Authorized to work in the United States without Company Sponsorship now and in the future.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Press brake operating experience
• Prior assembly experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Position Criteria:

• Obtain a license to operate a fork truck in a safe, responsible manner.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
