Pay Rate: Up to $28.00/hr plus $2/hr Shift Differential
Shift: 2nd shift, Mon-Fri, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Description:
We are immediately hiring in Waukesha, WI for an experienced brake parts operator responsible for forming structural steel and inspection of completed parts. You’ll be working the third shift, Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Brake Press Operator Duties and Responsibilities
Set up forming dies, operate 2000 ton brake press and tooling per standards.
Install, align, and lock specified punches, dies, cutting blades or other fixtures securely in rams or beds of machines.
Produce metal work pieces to quality and efficiency standards, measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications using micrometers, calipers, gauges, templates, and rulers.
Complete required paperwork.
Perform all required housekeeping tasks.
Brake Press Operator Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
At least one year of experience operating 2000 ton brake press
Must be familiar with bump forming and heavy plate forming
Must have experience choosing dies,
Blueprint reading skills and straightening.
Heavy manufacturing experience is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required.
