Job summary

Munters is seeking a skilled Amada Press Brake Set-Up/Operator to join our fabrication team in Amesbury, MA. This role focuses on setting up and operating Amada press brakes, selecting tooling, and ensuring parts meet tight tolerances per blueprints and drawings.

You will inspect finished parts with precision gauges, maintain setup sheets, and assist with junior operators while following safety protocols and achieving production schedules.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience operating Amada or similar CNC press brakes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of sheet metal properties.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and gauges.
• Basic understanding of CNC programming and machine controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up Amada press brake machines for production runs using instructions and blueprints.
• Operate the press brake to bend and form metal parts to tight tolerances.
• Inspect parts with calipers and gauges to ensure quality, and adjust as needed.
• Maintain setup sheets and document run data; keep work area clean and safe.
• Assist with training junior operators as needed.
