Job summary

Award Staffing in Rogers, MN is hiring a Press Brake Operator to set up, program, and run brake presses on aluminum, mild steel, and stainless parts. You will work the 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and QA finished parts while logging operations in the ERP system.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and hands-on sheet metal fabrication experience. Strong measurement skills and ability to read calipers and tapes are essential, along with good organization and communication.

Job description

Daily functions:

Communicate with the lead throughout the day regarding what needs to be formed and when it is due.
Program and operate press brakes, folding brakes, and perform QA operations on parts formed (Aluminum, Mild Steel, Stainless Steel).
Log all the time and operations through the company’s ERP software.
Setup, program, and run brake press experience required.

Desired qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.
Must be experienced in overall sheet metal fabrication.
Good organization skills
Good Communication skills
Ability to read tape measure, caliper, and protractor.

Physical requirements:

Lifting 50lbs up to 75 lbs. team lift
Standing for long durations of time
Use power tools and be comfortable with them.
